+2 50 yard zero works great for iron sights, red dots and even scopes!

Same for me, with my 10.5. The velocity isn't that much different from a 16" barrel, so a 50yd zero works great.

I am thinking to zero my Aimpoint at 100 and my buis at 50.
Figure I can cover more this way. |

50 yds for my 10.5" 5.56, and 35 yds for my 11.5" 7.62x39.

50 yard zero will cover everything from 10 yards to 200 yrds with less than 3" drop.

I will try both at 50 should I set my rear KAC on the 200 mark the zero mark is closer to the 3?

If you set it and leave it at 200 when sighting in at 50 yous should be good to go. It is not going to have effective velocities at 300 yds, so I would just sight it in at 200, and leave it there. |

Couldn't agree more I think having a different sight in for optics and irons is a bad idea. Should you ever need to use em KISS is the way to go. And frnakly it's not for bullseye matches, your talking "combat" effeictive ie, round inside an 8x10" box count. I keep a 50 yd zero on both for my AR's |

+1 on 50yd zero. 50 and 200yd zero are nearly the same. Perfect ranges for AR pistol anyway.
