Took the pistol to the range and did a shake down of the set up.  I am running a standard carbine buffer spring and a H3 buffer with a 6.75" barrel (pistol gas).

Recoil was soft with minimal muzzle rise.  I was concerned about using a H3 but it ran without a hick-up.

That does look better with the flaps folded up and considering it's not altering it in anyway, it's gtg.

Gives it a over all small size.

It was a good investment.  I needed to cross several state lines recently and those states allowed pistols and I did not need to notify the ATF that I was traveling.  It paid for itself on that one trip in headache.

Since fondling a sig pistol with brace I will for sure be getting one. Much comfortable than I thought.

Pistol uses a Aimpoint PRO and the SBR uses a Comp C3.

Out of curiosity, how tall are you, and does the brace shoved all the way down give you enough LOP?

I'm trying to decide whether I need a KAK tube with the extension or not.

I had one pushed all the way forward like that. It looks better. But after converting to the KAK super tube I wouldn't go back most likely.
I think the KAK is the better way to go go and im 6 foot.

That's kinda what I'm thinking.  I'm taller than 6 feet, and though I tend to get pretty close to the receiver when I shoot, I am thinking all the way in will be uncomfortably short.

I'm 6' 2" and with KAK tube it's just fine. Upright pistol grip like MOE K2 makes a surprisingly big difference too.

I'm 6' 2" and I usually run my stocks one click out.  I square up the rifle and run it nose to charging handle.  There is just enough room to work for me.  I may move it back approx 1/2" later this summer, but for now it works.

I guess I'm going to start building myself a 10.5" AR pistol....

Agree that the Magpul K2 does wonders.  I'm 6'0" larger frame and I have my brace ~1.5 inches away from the receiver...no problem at all.

Thanks.  I'll probably get the KAK tube since I'm 6'4" and run two clicks out.

You can get another 1.8" with the KAK spacers too. Apparently the SB!5 is rigid enough to work okay pulled out that far on the tube.
