Help me pick out a FF Handguard for my 7.5 barrel

I'm building my first AR pistol.....

I have bought a Noveske 7.5" Stainless Barrel with their low profile gas block..... seems that they have a specific gas block for their barrels.....

which other Free Float handguards will work with this barrel?..... I've been looking at the LaRue Tactical 7.0 but want to see any other 7" or shorter handguards that may work too....

pictures would be great....

best bet would be to look through the AR pistol pic thread. I went with the Spikes BAR Rail, was also looking at the JP Vtac rail.

very nice pistols......

I've been looking at the pistol picture thread and it appears that using the A2 front sight base was the most popular choice for a gas block.....

The Noveske barrel will not allow it's use due to their narrow gas base.....

I really like the looks of the KX3 and as I have read.... works very well..... I think I'll order one.

I'm running a cheap midwest industries 9" modular free float and a flaming pig on my 7.5" stainless.
Cheap, effective, and I can install the brake before threading on the free float tube.

If you're going to cover it, gas block doesn't matter....as long as your handguard fits over it.
I'm running a Vltor micro gas block.

For my pistol build I went with Laure 7.0 rail I found on the EE her. I have Larue or Daniel Defense on all my AR's, and very happy with either one.

I just finished my first 9mm pistol build yesterday. I used a 7" barrel and a carbine length YHM Diamond handguard. I really like the way that it came out.

i'm changing the length of my barrel on my pistol and going with a longer handguard too. i'm selling this midwest ind. carbine length on the EE.

perfect for 7-7.5 barrels.

I'm at work now and don't have any here. I'll try to take one tonight. It still looks a little off because I don't have sights or a muzzle device yet. I just put it together a few days ago.

Remember the barrel threads will stick out if you get a 7" handguard, I'd suggest a 7.5" if you plan on mounting a kx3 (which I know the OP did not specify)

Just put a YHM light weight carbine length on my JSE 7.5 upper with the YHM end cap on it. My dpms levang linear compensator barely fits through the end cap and the end of the barrel is almost flush with the end cap. Looks really cool. I'll post some pics tonight. I have about $158 for everything including a AFG2 and YHM low profile gas block.
