Took my freshly built AR15 pistol to the range and put 100 rds through it. Flawless. Got home to clean it and noticed the tip of the firing pin was slightly mushroomed. I have 100+ year old rifles with firing pins that can be used as awls. Is this normal? Should I replace the pin and if so, what brand?

No, that is not normal. What BCG is it??? Worth it to spend a few extra bucks on a quality firing pin.

Where do I get a quality firing pin?
