I was wanting to build an ar15 pistol which I want to use during a pig hunt.  I've searched through all the pistol pics and I only saw 1 bipod used.  Is there a legal issue to why no one uses  bi-pods.

Probably much the same reason you don't see bipods on 1911's.

you also don't see 14.5 "barrels on 1911's.  I'm just worried if there is some kind of legal issue.

It seems Ruger has no problems selling pistols with bipods.

I think that a GripPod might be pushing the edge though!
