Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - GSE Recoil Assy. & 9mm Bolt Carrier?

Has anyone modified a 9mm Bolt Carrier to function with the Gunsmoke Enterpries, Inc. mini-Receiver Extension?

I know the issue is the weight at the rear of the Carrier blocking the point where you'd load the recoil-retainer on the GSE setup.  Just wondering if anyone has done it.

I also wonder if the Bushy 9mm BCG would work with the GSE Recoil Assembly.

Any help is most appreciated.

That weight is important considering the blowback operation of 9mm carbines.

With the current hardware best bet is to stay with a standard carbine length buffer tube and a heavy buffer or Q buffer.
