If I want to build a PISTOl from scratch.....

FILL ME IN PLEASE ....

I want to buy a "stripped lower"
When I buy it - do I just make sure the paperwork  when "REGISTERED" says
PISTOL and not RIFLE ???

Or does the lower have to actually say PISTOL on it ???

Also--
Once I get a PISTOL LOWER -
Can I put a 10.5 or 11 inch upper on it ??
or does it have to be one of the smaller barrels ????

as long as it is a virgin lower and any length bbl. which is a personal preference type decision.
