I just bought a DPMS 308 and was looking for opinions on the 20 vs 25 round PMag. Any thoughts or special considerations? Thanks.

25 round for 3-gun and the like, 20 for everything else- bench, hunting, etc...

I always felt the 25 rounders were the 40 rounders of the 308 world.
But that's just my opinion.

Thats how I see them.  I have 10 of the 20s and when the 25s came out I thought they wouls ve awesome but I just never use them now.  Hack, i just use my Lancet 10 round mag the most.  But im shooting more precision .   I think if i had just a plinker 308, od be rocking the 25s all the time.

With a 25 round mag you'll be paying more for a magazine that you'll use less. They're big and heavy. You can get 20-round pmags from Botach for $17.06 shipped if you buy 6.

The gun is a LOT heavier with a fully loaded 25 rounder, that's for sure.  Lugged mine while deer hunting last year just to show people I used it for sporting purposes.  Only took 1 shot anyway.  I'll have to post my pics sometime once I shrink them to fit.
