Finished up my lower build last night on a JD Machine .308.   When I put in the detent and spring for the rear take down the spring didn't stick out the back and contact the stock.  Which left the take down pin loose.  However I noticed a 2nd hole (can I say that?) that ran vertically all the way down to the pistol grip.  Not the one for the safety detent spring.  I put the detent and spring in that one and it seemed to work fine.  Is that ok?   I tried a search on google and here but couldn't find anything.  I'm at work and don't have a pic either.
