So, I can't find a straight answer anywhere.  Is the MPA R300 (or R series entirely for that matter) anything like an AR15?  I've been peeping at them like my name is Tom, and I can't turn up a search result at all.  What do they have in common?  What's not common?  Are they garbage?  Why or why not?

Pics for clicks.

Well, found this, it's as close as an answer as I need.  It's more of an AR180, therefore literally nothing is common with our beloved AR's and the MPAR, save for magazines.
