The lower is a RRA with Magpul grip and ACS buttstock, and the upper is one my gunsmith put together for me. The upper and scope are Duracoated in "Magpul Foliage Green."

The barrel is a Shilen 20" 1 in 9 twist that I found on Gunbroker. We used a Daniel Defense upper receiver and handguard. The scope is a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16 mounted in a JP mount.

So far I've put about 120 rounds through it during break in and so far I'm pleased with the accuracy.  I'll start more load development soon......

Thanks for looking.

George

nice rig.......im guessing you will have to push heavier pills with the 1-9? or will it handle the standard 32 grainers?

That is one nice rifle I always wanted a  204 for predators but never pulled the trigger on one.

Thanks for posting this. I've been thinking about one of these for a while simply because it would be "different".

Im also interested in this if it will work with all 204 grain'd bullets.

I pretty much never use 32gr bullets in anything but my .20 Vartarg.....

For coyotes the 35gr Berger is outstanding, as well as the 39gr SMK or Hornady 45gr soft point.....

I am about this close to buying a .204 Ruger AR-15.  Please don't push me over the edge.

What is it about more than 4000 fps out of an AR that isn't to like?

If you want 4000 fps + out of an AR....I suggest you go with a 17 Remington!

Here's mine:

My buddy is thinking of selling his 24" Shilen .204 upper if anyone is in the market.  PM me.

Very nice rifle!

I have been pondering the idea of building a 204 ruger in an AR platform along with a 260 Remington AR build..

Cheers,
