I shoot a 1 in 12 twist 308 and it loves the 155 scenars. why not just buy the factory Remington in 308 that is already 16.5 inches with a 1 in 10 twist if you wanna go short. good luck either way

Finding a 1 in 12 twist AR barrel  might be tough. 11 or 10 twist barrels are available.
