Hello all, first post here. I'm a wood & steel guy tryin to get up to speed with your help, be easy on me :). I have this http://dpmsinc.3dcartstores.com/308-Classic_ep_100-1.html. Can anyone tell me if the DPMS DCM free float tubehttp://www.dpmsinc.com/DCM-National-Match-Free-Float-Tubes-Handguards_p_335.html will fit my rifle ? I have this rifle scoped and it's a little hard to access the charging handle now. Are there aftermarket ones that could alleviate this issue ? Thanks for any help you can give me, it's greatly appreciated.

DPMS has a version too, you will need one. The standard latch is WAY too small.
As you know, these are substantially larger and with a scope on, its only harder to pull on.
My REPR has the DPMS version and I would not live without it.

yup, I have the tac latch on ALL my AR's. you can charge the weapon by just sweeping your open hand down the left side of the receiver.
very very nice

The buffer spring on the .308s is stronger, it takes alot more pull.
