I picked upi a Timney trigger for my Remington R25 (DPMS) today and after I put it in the gun it seems that the bolt is harder to pull back about 1/2 way back like the bolt is riding on the hammer.  Has anybody else experianced this?  I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet with the new trigger in it.

If I remember correctly there is no common standard for the bolt carrier for the .308 platform. ie Mil-Spec for the AR-15 style rifles. The SR Gold trigger group I purchased had mentioned what manufactors they are known to work well with. They did mention that the bolt riding over the hammer may be an issue. I have a DPMS Bolt/Bolt Carrier and did not experience this particular issue.
