Has anybody tried this?  My 5.45X39 S&W Upper/RRA Single stage trigger has a terrible trigger pull.  I did install the heavy S&W hammer spring supplied with the upper.

This is something I can do myself, else I guess I'm looking at a trigger job.

TIA, Tony

I do not like pins w/o a groove for the 'J' spring on the hammer, though I guess you could remove it.  It might work on a .223/5.56, but on a 5.45???

Your best bet would be to just embrace your trigger pull, or buy a better FCG.

Looks like all they did was cut the one side of the trigger spring.

You should consider a trigger job by Bill Springfield. Same kind of money.

Bill Springfield

I have two, one in .223 and one in .308 and I love them.
