Saw one of these locally for what I believe to be a good price.

Only thing is I don't much care for the Stainless Steel Barrell and the rounded free float hand guards.

I could probably live with the SS barrell but would want to swap out the hand guards for DPMS's Quad Rail.

How hard would this be?  Would their Quad Rail go over the rather large gas block they have on this rifle?

You could get the 24" cut down to 20", then blackened.

Their rail should fit up to the gas block, not over it.

I say if the price is right, go for it. I am very happy with mine.
