A platform that would go beyond the ar10 and handle traditional long action cartridges such as 30-06, 270 or 7mm mag. Much in the same mold of the Cobb MCR.

Personally I would trip all over myself to own an ar based rifle in 270 or 30-06. Just imagine how well a reasonably priced Remington R35 would sell to hunters.

Hmmmm, interesting concept academically speaking, but I don't see a need for my purposes at this time.

I like the idea of an AR in 30/06

My thought exactly.

An AR type chambered in .338LM would float my boat but I think that beast would be out of my price range. I can afford only so many $3500 + rifles...

Othan than that I say no....

I would love in in .300 Win Mag., but I'm not sure if that's even possible in a semi-auto.  It might take an action so big that it wouldn't be practical.

.30-06 would be cool.

hey guys,
there is a AR in 30.06.  It was manufactured by Cobb manufacturing and my wife got me it for a birthday gift.  It shoots well and is a real tackdriver.  I bagged a 325lb wild hog at 300 yards with no sweat. Believe me, an AR in 30.06 is cool.  just my two cents worth.

No.

I would be interested in a FAT action ar variant, though.

Double stack SOCOM, Bushmaster, and WSSM ...

I knew about that one but it is well out of my price range at the moment
