I have seen reasonably good deals on these Blackthorne uppers in 6.8mm SPC.  Does anyone have any experience with them?

I thought blackthorn was made by Hesse/vulcan, if so, I would avoid it.

Blackthorne is total crap.  Avoid it at all costs.   They've changed their name again and again because their products are crap and people hate them. Get a Stag 6.8 upper instead.

Or a RRA.  I contacted their sales dept. about an L.E. purchase and I got a call back within the day.  I've NEVER received that kinda of service from anyone in teh industry re: LE sales.

I own one.  Their customer service sucks ass but the gun shoots good.  I have gotten less than 1" groups by handloading.  It is not stock though.  Not sure if I will ever buy from them again.  The extra money for a company with customer service would be worth it.
