If I were to SBR a 458 SOCOM AR15, what's the shortest barrel length that will still deliver the goods at 100 yds or less?  I'd like to go as short as possible, yet still be able to hammer a hog or bear.

Its working fine for me.
Anyways MartyTW has a 12.5 inch 458 SOCOM SBR with a modified KX3. Sharp looking big bore, one of the sharpest I have ever seen actually.


Giving me WAAAYY too much credit, I'm only packing 9.3"

Nice sticks, UAF.  

I have mine sighted in and ready for the hogs.  So far I'm very pleased with it, especially the accuracy.
