Hi guys, looking for some advice.  I just field stripped my brand new DPMS LR-308 and the gas tube inside the receiver moves ever so slightly side to side.  Enough that if you shake the upper without the bolt it makes a little rattle noise.  I have not fired it yet.  Should I be concerned?  Should this be rock solid or does it matter?

thanks in advance

contact dpms, send them your upper receiver.  gas tube will wear with improper alignment.
