I have two Bushmaster AR-15's and a new BAR-10.  The triggers on the AR-15's feel like single stage triggers with a good clean break, but the 308's feels like a very gritty, choppy 2 stage.  Is there anything I can do, such as polishing, to smooth out the trigger on the 308? Or do I have to buy one of those aftermarket $$$$ triggers?

I have been looking at some of the aftermarket triggers, but I am not sure.  Are the ones designed for the AR-15 the ones that will fit the 308 also?  Or are there triggers marketed directly towards the 308 receiver because it is a different size.  Thanks for any help.

Go with the RRA two stage, I have one in my .308 and it works great.

You can find them on EE for about 85 new.

You dont need a real expensive one unless you are real picky.
