Don't have an AR30, but looked very close at the one at my local gun store tonight.  The brake is huge and VERY HEAVY.  I don't think it work on an AR10.  Does the 10 haev too much recoil for you?

its not as much the recoil as the muzzle jump. the thing is i need a new brake, mine is leaking at the seam. i was orignally looking into the jp one and they thread the barrel. they say its a nonstandard thread size so i will be ok. in nj no threaded barrels allowed.
