Looking for a midlength barrell in 6.8 that has a comparable price to a 5.56 barrel.  Anyone know any one out there that makes one?

my question exactly. If there is such a thing. Would I be able to just swap barrels and keep my handguards/hardware?

Yes.  All you would have to do to convert a 5.56 upper to 6.8 is install a new barrel and bolt.

i wouldn't trust a model 1 bolt...

wait until better companies come out with SS, and chrome barrels
