Green Mountain is listing a new barrel.  It is 19" .223 Wylde  with what they call an experimental 1:6 Twist barrel.  It has a non threaded barrel.  What bullet weight would be good for this?

I've shot 45gr all the way up to 80gr through mine.

Mine seemed to like 55gr ammo best.

Do not shoot 36gr varmint grenades, I shot some in my Green Mountain 1/5 twist barrel, and they turned into birdshot.

It'll shoot the heaviest bullets you can load.

Not sure but one thing I am sure about is that Green Mountain makes great barrels.

My 18" shot 55's really well too, haven't had the chance to run some heavier ammo through it yet.

I have the same barrel with target crown.  The below shot with not the most stable bench as I used a couple of  60 gallon landscape plastic pots for my table that morning.
