I've shot 45gr all the way up to 80gr through mine.
Mine seemed to like 55gr ammo best. Do not shoot 36gr varmint grenades, I shot some in my Green Mountain 1/5 twist barrel, and they turned into birdshot. |

It'll shoot the heaviest bullets you can load.

Not sure but one thing I am sure about is that Green Mountain makes great barrels.

My 18" shot 55's really well too, haven't had the chance to run some heavier ammo through it yet.
