i think i want to start up a more precision based builld, and was thinking an A2 stock really isn't a bad thing,  so i went to PSA and was going to order a complete lower. but they didn't have one with an A2 stock. ok then, surplus arms and ammo usually has cheap complete lowers, went to their site, same problem.

so then i said, ok, maybe i'll just spend the extra money for one with a magpul PRS if they make it, since places are selling pre installed UBR lowers, who knows right? didn't find those either.

anyways, was wondering if any of you guys know any sites with a decent deal on an A2 style lower? or if you think i'd be better off to just build one myself? really trying to stay under $250, $200 would be awesome, i don't care about the FCG, i'll be swapping it out.

if building is really the best option i have a friend who can probably help me out, but i'd rather not bother him with building the whole thing with me, since i've never built a lower (i realize everyone says it's easy but still).

Be patient grasshopper and get what you want, not just what's available.

i've wanted a PRS for a 8 months now, but i've always liked the look of the A2 stocks, they're just classic, and well regarded in the precision role to boot, so i'm sure i'd be happy with either, or.

probably a whole lot cheaper than a PRS too, assuming i could find one pre assembled from a reputable dealer. and truthfully, this is me being an irresponsible adult to put this rifle together, so telling myself, well i went for the cheaper one! helps out a bit in that regard.

but the only one i found through google was a bcm, which while i'm sure it's a nice as any other, it was like $400, and doesn't do anything a PSA doesn't do too. would be nice to have a bcm  lower for my bcm upper, but not $200 nice ya know?

Depending on which FCG you're considering, both also provide the option for either a CMC or Geissele.

No, but you can use most other stocks that would fit on a standard carbine RE...many more options which would provide better cheek weld compared with the A2 stock.
