Are the add on picatinny rails for these handguards proprietary. Or can you buy other manufacturers add on rails. I just want a 2 or 3 inch rail for a light.

Proprietary due to the spacing of the screws and the backing plate that attaches to the inside of the rail. The Troy Alpha rails will fit both the Troy and VTAC alpha rails.
