I got through the EE on another forum an 11.5" AR Performance Wylde chambered melonited barrel that is threaded 5/8 x 24 at the muzzle... Not yet installed as it is a spare until I can get a Noveske with a switchblock, my dream barrel LOL
Something like that hold interest to you?

Yes I'm wanting a 11.5"-12.5" barrel, what twist and gas system is recommended

Gas is carbine and the twist is 1 in 8, with a modified 5R profile.

If you want a short barrel you should be able to have a carbine gassed 14.5" or 16" barrel cut and rethreaded (open the gas port).
