I have seen tons of threads in the interwebz on how to tell the difference between MilSpec and Commercial receiver extension tubes, but I can't find anything on how to tell the difference between a MilSpec MOE stock vs a Commercial MOE stock.  I have a MilSpec tube and just bought a MAG400 MOE MilSpec carbine stock (at least that's what the box says), but it seems loose on the tube and I think it may have been a MAG401 Commercial version in the box by mistake.  How can I tell the difference?

Thanks!

Some looseness is to be expected with stocks that do not have friction locks.
