Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - What are the risks of converting the Adams Arms 5.56 upper to 6.8?

I am looking at using this Adams Arms 5.56 upper to build a sbr. Later, I would like to convert it to 6.8. I understand all I need to convert is a bolt and barrel swap, but is their any risk the higher caliber might damage the upper?

I don't know... I would suggest talking to Adam Arms and/or Rainer Arms.
