I'm building a new upper and I want it to have a fixed stock, but not sure if I want an A1 or A2 length.
Could someone with one of each measure from the butt of the stock to where the receiver extension threads into the receiver?
That way I can set up an adjustable to see which feels better without actually having to buy both.
Unless someone knows a better way, or has a link to the dims.
EDIT: for typographical errors.

A1-9 7/8", A2 =10 1/2" measured from the back face of the lower receiver down the center line of the receiver extension. An A1 is 5/8" shorter.

The A1 is the same length as any USGI or USGI style stock all the way out. The A2 is that + 5/8".
