Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Troy Medevial Muzzle Brake-Does It work as a muzzle brake not just a bludgeon?

I am interested in having a Troy Medevial Muzzle Brake Permenantly Attached to a chrome lined 1:7 twist barrel to comply with my states AWB Statues.  Does anyone have any feedback on this muzzlebrake?  Are there any low cost alternatives to the Troy Brake?  Any feedback would be appreciated.
