Title says it all.  Show'em if you got'em.  To clarify I meant A1 and A2 carry handle uppers not A1 and A2 stocks, though those look good to.  I think an A1 upper with a CTR stock, 14.5" lightweight barrel and DD Omega rail might look kinda cool.  It would still be pretty handy, free floated, and would have a rock solid mounting place for foregrip, weapon light and sling.

My bad. I thought the title said lowers, not uppers.

Again not the stock.  I'm looking for fixed carry handle uppers with railed forearms to see how they look.

Nifty

Where are you guys getting A1 uppers from?

What do you mean?  They are everywhere.  Although I keep changing my 1st build, I think I've settled on this unique style.  I really like the way it looks.  It seems like it answers alot of my problems and doesnt add too much stuff I dont need.  My current build plan consists of:

CMMG 14.5" Lightweight w/Perm attach vortex
A1 Upper
Undecided on Carbine or Middy Gas system
DD Omega Rail (either 7.0 or 9.0 depending on gas system)
Magpul CTR Stock
Tango Down Stock
Larry Vickers sling
Larue FUG
Tac Light (probably a Surefire x300)
Trijicon Tritium Night Sights

I want a lightweight, handy gun that has an emphasis on quality components with a relatively minimalist style.  Although there are certainly guns that are simple than my plan, but this one will still be damn light and will be unique and rugged.  It is my take on a simple rifle.  Luckily a coworker has a 16" lightweight w/ Omega rail so I will get a pretty good feel of the rifle before I make final decisions.

I hope to see a few more pics though.  Keep them coming.

These are two of my favorite rifles.  The OD one has a Colt 1/7 .gov profile barrel, the lower one an FN 1/7 .gov profile barrel.  I like being able to bolt on a weaponlight now and then.

That was one of the earlier posts that was giving me A1 and A2 stocks.  After I got the link to the other thread of ARs with A1 and A2 stocks I revised my OP to clarify I fixed carry handle uppers.

I have a number of used A2 uppers that I would consider selling for a very fair price if any of you retro fans are interested. Some are Colt some are Bushmaster.

Varying degrees of wear. But US Anodizing can help you out with that at a good price. Or a can of Krylon

PM me if you guys are interested. I honestly  had not put much thought into selling them until reading this post. They are collecting dust in the armory.

I had always thought they might make good components for a build as a first AR for a woman or teenager, but never gave it much thought beyond that.
