...which is to say, they're all good choices, and the overwhelmingly vast majority of shooters will never be able to achieve the accuracy that the barrel is capable of if the trigger puller is removed from the equation, which is why benchrest shooters go to such extraordinary lengths with gun rests and shot bags and lead sleds to remove every possible bit of human error from the system. Buy from a quality company and you won't be disappointed. I bought mine from ADCO (a White Oak Armament SPR barrel). Even the best barrel will not always produce the best groups with just any ammo. You will have to try a lot of different brands and bullet weights and bullet shapes and maybe even develop your own particular loads for each particular barrel. And of course a lot of quality trigger time is a must as well |

My Kreiger is terrific, but the CLE Douglas is also excellent.   |

Most definitely, CLE Douglas (1:7 twist) is a most excellent SPR barrel. I have had two. Both are tight shooters.

WE'VE USED DOUGLAS, KRIEGER, AND LILJA, ALL TURNED OUT FOR US BY COMPASS LAKE ENGINEERING, AND ALL WITH EXCELLENT RESULTS.
CURRENTLY, WE'RE HAVING JOHN NOVESKE MAKE A CONTOUR FOR US WE CALL THE "MK 12 MOD 2" IN HIS NEW 3-GROOVE 1X8" TWIST S/S. IT WEIGHS 1.1 OZ MORE THAN A PROPER SPR CONTOUR BARREL. HERE'S A PIC:  HERE'S A COUPLE OF EXAMPLES OF WHAT THE FINISHED PRODUCT LOOKS LIKE:   ONE OF THESE WILL BE USED FOR ITS ULTIMATE PURPOSE. THE GAS BLOCK COMES WITH THE NOVESKE BARREL, BUT VLTOR MAKES THEM TO SPEC FOR NOVESKE OUT OF 17-4 STAINLESS. IT IS PINNED ON.
THE FOREND IS THE KNIGHT'S M4 LONG FREE FLOATING RAS, THE SAME AS USED ON THE SPR MK 12 MOD 1. HOPE THIS HELPS. WES |

WOA, Lothar Walthar...I had a 10.5" 1/8 LW barrel that would spit 75 Hornady 1 moa. Got rid of that one. My 10.5 LMT with a 2 stage RRA trigger will throw the 77SMK (hand loads) .75 MOA. Yeah I was shocked too. I would love to see what the 18" LMT would do. Not selling the LMT.

I've had really good luck with White Oak Armament barrels. My WOA SS 18" SPR barrel/bolt attached to a Vltor upper with BCM bolt carrier consistently shoots .5 moa with my handloaded Seirra 69 grn. bthps.
