I am considering a 20" RRA A4 Varmint Upper but would like to know approximately what the final weight of my rifle will be.  My A2 stocked lower, 10 round mag, scope and Harris bipod weighs 4lb 4oz.  I am also open to suggestions about lowering weight if this turns out to be really heavy.  This will be a varmint rifle for out to 225 yards max.  Thanks!

i got a cav arms lower a long time ago. then decided i wanted a varmint upper. i put the 2 together. i mean i'm all for top and front heavy trucks, women, and pistols, but DAMN it did NOT balance well. i added weight to the stock, and i changed the fore-end to a carbon fiber tube, and presto! some semblence of balance! my advice to you? carbon fiber foreend. if you want a strap wrench and an upper reciever block, i still have the one i had, PM me if interested in it.
