Just got one.  It's hot.  I dont care for the compartment, so I removed that.

The UBR comes with an extra "standard" cheek piece.  And 4 little hex screws and 1 washer.

I assume the 4 hex screws are for the holes left behind when you remove the compartment parts.

But what is the washer for?

Since nobody responded, i assume others dont know either.  This is the response i received from magpul in case anybody else is wondering.

You are correct that the four screws are to fill the holes left behind when removing the compartment doors (and MUST be used if doing so).  The washer is just a spare in case you want to remove one of the sling swivel QD Sockets.  It would then go under the bolt head to replace the Socket.
