What should I go with:

The LMT 16" Upper with Larue 7.0 rail from JTAC for 705 w/out charging handle bolt carrier group and a rear sight

or

Noveske N4 light basic upper for 875 incl bolt carrier group, latch and rear sight.. from rainier arms

I would really like the noveske but how would the LMT upper compare to the Noveske, Ive always heard that Noveske is top of the line. So how does LMT compare???

The LMT comes with the LT rail so thats like 300 saved right there. So ya what is a better deal, what would you got with.

Any input would help!

Noveske would be my choice. I don't like the M4 cut barrels.

Normally I tend to think Noveske barrels are a little over hyped and priced but I have to say the N4 barrel sounds sweet. I wish he sold them seperately.

So what I'm saying is if I had the money, I would get the N4 upper

Here is the noveske upper the day I got it from the shipper.  I am happy thus far.

$705 LMT upper + LaRue 7.0
$130 BCG
$140 Troy Rear Sight
$20 Charging Handle
---------------------------
$995 Total

OR

$875 Noveske Basic, Troy Rear Sight, BCG/CH, AAC M4-2000 Mod .07 FS ($95 part included)
$240 DD Omega 7.0
---------------------------
$1115 Total

You'll spend $120 more on the N4 Basic w/ FF rail, but you're getting the unique M249 spec chrome lined barrel.  Pretty accurate, too...

Go for the Noveske.  The barrel is far better than the 16" M4 profile barrel.

My noveske was by far my most accurate AR, and I have 3 LMT carbines right now...

The barrel specs sound awesome. Saw a guy on the EE selling everything off the N4 upper except the barrel so some guys are going as far as buying one, stripping it for the barrel and selling off everything else. I wouldnt mind buying one of the barrels if they sold them seperately. I think they want to cash in on people having to buy the complete upper for the barrel. They did a pretty sweet thing with the double chroming and rightly should benefit as much as possible off that before everyone gets ahold of them.

I have both an LMT 16" upper and Noveske N4 Light Basic upper and I prefer the Noveske.  It's not anything you can really put in words you just have to see them both in person so see what I mean.  The quality and fit and finish is top notch.  Do a search and you'll see most people say the same thing.

They both are more accurate than I am and both are 100% reliable.

Hmm thanks guys for the info, its a tough choice. Save a little bit of money or go with the best out and and having that satisfaction.

Hey guys at Rainier arms, do you sell it without the DD rail and just with the normal handguards, cuz if i buy the upper it will be from you since i live only a few minutes away??

I'm not from Rainier Arms but I did buy my N4 Light Basic upper from them and it did come with the regular double shielded handguards.

hey ya i know you arent but they posted in the thread earlier so i thought they might read it again. The only reason i ask is because they only advertise it with the DD rail online, they have the 875 price but then when u add it to your cart then it automatically adds the DD option.

Ranier arms sells it with the DD rail and with standard m4 handguards.  875 w/o DD and I think 1075 with DD rail

Buy the less expensive and spend the extra money on practice ammo.  There is no difference between the two that anyone would ever notice, in terms of quality, service life, or accuracy.
