Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - anyone try 50 cal upper/barrel on ar lower?

I've always wanted to shoot a 50 cal rifle but they seem expensive.  I saw this online http://www.ultralite50.com  It puts a .50 cal barrel and upper receiver on an AR lower.  Has anyone heard about this or tried it?  Does it really work?  Does it beat up on the gun?  I searched ar15.com but found no references to Ultralite 50.
