I just picked up a M5 RAS complete kit for $170. All I can figure is the demand is low with all of the other newer rails available.

That and the supply is high. Probably a bunch sneaking out the S4 back door. Just like the matech sights showing up.

There are plenty of non-KAC RAS'es on the market too. Last time I was at KAC I saw one that was a dead ringer for a M4 RAS until you took it apart and started measuring. Material quality was not the same and it didn't fit right, but it was remarkably close visually.
Buyer beware. KAC can tell the difference so when they get them in for warranty, the outcome will not be good for the buyer. |

I got a nice rifle length M5RAS off EBay last year. Freaked out thinking it might be fake, and when it got to me I was thrilled. $210 shipped from ebay, came with rail panel kit and a KAC vfg
