stag handgaurds - AR15.COM

I just ordered a Stag model a2 upper half and was wondering if any of you guys have free floated or at least replaced the handgaurds.
The ones I have looked at are for m4? Maybe, the Stag has a 16" barrel so would that make it a mid legnth?
I just don't want to order the parts only to find out they don't fit, so any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your question is conflicted.
Did you get an A2 (20" barrel with rifle length handguards) or an M4 upper (16" with carbine handguards)?

Sorry for the confusion, it is their model 2, it has a 16" barrel, are they true carbine handgaurds? They are the short ones but does that mean they are the same as the ones on a M4 so products designed for a M4 will fit? Or just being carbine handgaurds will it all fit regardless of the 14.5-16" barrel difference?

Any carbine or M4 HG's will fit, It is not a middy. Hope this helps

I replaced my M4 handguards with DD 9.5FSP rail. I love it. Sorry no pics
