The LW upper has the option of the very nice ARM-R rail system and the ARMs SIR is the only other system known to fit.

If you send in a CASV-EL......then they can test their theory that it needs a little bit of machining.....
 Otherwise Ridge is bang on. The Larue is too narrow in sidewalls of the top rail to accomodate the piston. The ARM-R works great and even has a retuirn to zero removable top half that lets you open in up without tools and get right into the piston for that concous d'elegance cleaning that is unnecessary.
