I am thinking about getting a RRA upper but don't understand the difference between the CAR and the M-4 handguards.  Are they the same length, just different profiles?  The reason I ask is that I am wondering if all of the m-4/7"/carbine free float handguards will fit or if this is some kind of "Colt" designation where I need to order a special Colt sized handguard to replace them.  Thanks and sorry if this is just a stupid question that I should know the answer to.

Grassy-ass!!

That's what I thought but I just wasn't familiar with RRA terminology.
