Could I please get some insight and opinions on the advantages or disadvantges of these 2 barrels. WOA has a 1:7 twist and the Douglas has a 1:8 twist. Thanks in advance for any help

Douglas 16in Recon barrel with a 1:8 twist would be Excellent.

Either one is a quality barrel and shouldn't disappoint. I have never personally (that I know of) shot a Douglass barrel, but they have a reputation of being excellent. For most shooters, there will be no difference in accuracy (though for a top-end shooter, the Douglass barrel may have a slight edge iirc).

Unless you are going for "X" count, and are good enough to hold the X, the Wilson barrel will meet or exceed your expectations.
