I was looking at uppers and one said this: "...with chrome lined bolt carrier group."  I've seen chrome bolts but, this seems to be something different.
Can anyone tell me what this means?  As well, what are the advantages of such a device?

Mil-Spec bolt carriers are chrome lined where the bolt rides.

And any carrier that does not show a hard chrome lining inside that front hole is a cheap knock off that should be avoided like the plague.
