Greetings:
I am building a "varmint" rig for punching paper. I am debating between these (24" 1:8) varmint uppers. What would be your preference?

Regards

I never handled one of the RRA varmint uppers, but my DPMS 20" varmint was nice.  I could shoot 1" groops at 100' with 55 and 64 gr.  Using Blackhills 68 grain ammo, I could shoot groups that I could cover with a dime.

Rock River is supposed to be one of the best...

I have never owned one so I don't know for sure...

I have a DPMS lower that I built up, and its great. good finish, all the parts fit fine, and good price.

of the two I would go wirh RRA. For fit, finish, and $$$ I just dont think you can go wrong

There was a recent magazine test with RRA being top dog in comparison to  Armalite and Bushmaster for their 24"
Varmint/Target rifles.
