Got great answers to my last question, so here's another.

My AR-15 has a Armalite Eagle Arms 5.56  M15A2 lower, and a Colt 7.63X39 upper.  If I want to change it to .223 (5.56), could I just buy a complete upper in .223 and swap it all out.  Is that all there is to it?  

Anybody have any recommendations on a good "starting" upper in .223?  Don't need anything way fancy, just simple, reliable, and somewhat affordable.

bcg- bolt carrier group-complete bolt, bolt carrier, firing pin, cam pin, firing pin retaining pin and charging handle.
