options i am pondering.....i have a dpms .22 rim upper-the heavy barrel vesion with the rail, never used it. i also have a hesse ar-15, never used (for the obvious reasons). i might prefer a sighted rifle for most use, soooo......i could strip the questionable parts (all) out of the hesse, replace with new internals, and drop in a ciener conversion, or dump the hesse-after putting a few rounds thorugh it to make sure it works, which is a crapshoot-and put the dpms upper on a new lower...but i don't know if i like it's overall looks, and the issue of open sights vs another scope and mounts and all that. i don't care about the expense, but the pita factor is starting to manifest itself. OR i could sell the dpms upper (any takers?), sell the hesse complete rifle, and get a new dpms .22 rim in the a-2 configuration.....hmmm. any thoughts?
