Hello,
I'm looking at several companies uppers and would like some recommendations on a quality upper rec. to use as a foundation for my SBR upper. I want a marked flat top M4 type upper with the feed cuts. Any input is appreciated on what you guys feel is the best make of upper receiver out there. Thanks for any info or input.

You know... I was leaning towards the CMT with the cuts.
I checked out a few today and the CMT looks like a quality part.
Thanks!

Doesn't Noveske just use CMT uppers for his complete uppers?

Yes.  The only thing he makes are the barrels (and KFH).

Take the next step to a gas piston upper.  Go with Leitner-Wise.

I would say the MGI QCB would be a great idea.

The new ones are supposed to be out in a month.  That way you can have a 7.5, 10.5, 11.5, 12.5 or whatever length barrel you want and if you want something else throw two levers and change it out.

Want to change calibers- no sweat change the barrel and bolt.

If you haven't already registered the lower and can wait the new MGI multi-cal lower is a lot more flexible too.  That way your SBR could take several types of magazines too.

You run the same rail system so you don't need 5 rails and uppers, flashlights and grips etc.  It's a "wallet force multiplier".
