Almost finished it a few days ago, but had to remove the barrel when I realized the HALO needed the little step at the end of the muzzle to mount.
I guess that was the easy part, now its owner has to wait for 2 stamps before he can take it home a play

That's just cruel. Put up the post of what the poor bastard can't touch.
Nice looking rifle. I like the two tone look. Interesting he picked a M4QD mount when that's just a good way to spend $65 more than an A2 FH or $45 more than a phantom. |

You notice the little things  The KAC M4QD mount is the most concentric flash hider I've found. Small insurance to pay when putting a HALO on a 11.5" barrel. |

 This is the one with the 1" longer gas, right? Do you notice a difference in the cycling with the can off vs. can on? |

It was "pieced" together by the owner, but let me know exactly what you want and I'm sure something can be done. The Stripped Lower came from Noveske Rifleworks on a Form 3. The barrel is HBAR 1:8, SS Wilson with 3 deep flutes. The Color is KG Flat Dark Earth. No noticable difference shooting this one with the longer gas system. This will run without the suppressor another I'm working on another that will only run with a suppressor in cold weather. I'm still waiting for the other suppressor to arrive for that build. |

Any specific reason why the owner didn't want to have everything, or at least the lower coated to match the upper?

The KG Koting is done at a friends shop on the other side of town. With the Lower being a NFA item, I cant release it to him to take and paint...... While paperwork is pending, if I get time to hang out there for a few hours, it will get painted while I wait and still have "control" of the item. If I dont get to it I'm sure the owner will once he takes posession, and he can wait. As for the DD rail, the owner was going to krylon it. |
