Are these brand specific? does it matter if you have triangular versus round.  Are there advantages to either one.  Sorry if this is redundant buy I can't find these answers on search.  Thx

midlengths come in either round or trangle.



different handguard caps require specific handguards.

two types of round ones...Car handguard caps and some commercial carbine caps are complete circles...M4 caps have two cutouts on the bottom for clearance with an M203.
