I have one of the early sp-1 Vietnam type black buttstocks. I need to be sure I get the right gear for it because it looks shorter by an inch or so. Is there a specific tube and spring or will the standard A2 kit work? Are ALL the parts in this stock the same or only some??

Thanks,

Ed

standard A2 spring and buffer will work, don't worry. you are right, the A1 stock is shorter than the A2 one but the buffer tubes are the same lenght

Yup. An A2 has a plastic spacer to make up for the 5/8 inch difference in length.

You need an A1 length screw. The A2 screw is too long.
